HEY GUYS!

For every $50 I raise towards Bike MS this week I’m entered to win some cool stuff and things so YEAH GO SEND SOME MONEY TO A COOL CAUSE YO!

Also I’m just THIRTY dollars away from my next goal.

Remember last year when Jack Antonoff donated? Be cool like Jack and GO BABY GO!

HOLY MOLY

While riding my bike home from school today a fucking car hit me

I’m 100% fine, I didn’t go to the hospital, not a scratch on me! My glasses didn’t even fall off.

My bike however is TBD and I love that fucking bike and I’d rather not replace it.

I got the man’s information so even if I do have to replace it (it at least needs a new fork and some new spokes) it won’t be out of my own pocket.

I knew this would happen one day considering I bike nearly every day and drivers are fucking idiots and I am so so incredibly lucky I was able to walk away.

I’m in emotional shock over this but man WEAR YOUR HELMET ALWAYS GUYS.

I'VE RAISED 61% OF MY GOAL

skip your double shot extra foam non fat milk latte tomorrow and help me get a little closer to my goal AND help out people living with MS!

YO! My Bike MS team is currently in 10th place on the fundraising leader board! A $25 donation will take us up to 9th!

HEY. HI. YES, YOU! RIGHT THERE READING THIS.

Did you know I’m getting ready to ride my bike 175 miles in TWO* days? Because I am. And did you also know that I’m raising money and all of it goes to Bike MS? Because I am and it does. Aaaaand did you also know that you  can help out with as little as a FIVE DOLLAR donation. That’s like skipping your Starbucks one day this week. How simple is that? SUPER SIMPLE. And then people living with MS will have better treatments and perhaps even a CURE. WOW. All because of your simple five (or more!) dollar donation.

You can donate and/or get more information HERE YO. So please spare a few bucks if you can, or even a reblog to help spread the world.

Thank you kindly.

(*the ride isn’t in two days but takes place over two days. The ride isn’t actually this summer so that gives you plenty of time to save up five dollars if you don’t currently have it. How nice am I to give you time?)

This is pretty awesome.

Rusty Bikes
Maybe there are no coincidences, maybe everything is linked and works out to certain fixed points in time. Or fixed objects. Like a rusty old Raleigh bike locked to a streetlight in Brooklyn since the dawn of time, ready to be tripped over by someone - a person who is part of the central reason you came to be in Brooklyn - getting out of a car just as you happen to be passing that streetlight for the second time that day, after you’d already taken a photo of the bike fastened to it without knowing it would be significant. Or maybe somehow, you did.

hey hey hey

I’m looking for a good bike ride to do in Boston this spring/summer. Hopefully a century or half century, sag supported.

Anyone ride bikes in the Boston area, or know anyone who does?

Highlights of 2012: biking 100 miles, getting my first tattoo, and finally getting up the nerve to cut my hair.

Highlights of 2012: biking 100 miles, getting my first tattoo, and finally getting up the nerve to cut my hair.

If I ride 90 more miles by the end of the year I will have biked over 2,000 miles in 2012! Bring it on, snow!

Even though it’s a long ways away I’m registered for next year’s Bike MS! When I participated this year I did my first century, next time around I’m going to do 100 miles the first day AND THEN another 75 the next. WOWZA, right?? Now, who wants to be the first person to donate to my page? I’ll take a donate over a Christmas present any day! (Tis the season for giving, or so they say.)
