Sigh. I don’t know where to start. 

When I first heard We Are Young I didn’t like it, at all. But now I guess it’s…growing on me? This made me so nervous for the album. Nate’s voice is so organically beautiful and I didn’t like that they messed with it. I still don’t. 

Overall, I enjoy the album. There’s a lot that a love, but there are a few tracks I completely skip over. It no way compares to Aim and Ignite in any shape, way, or form. With A&I I was instantly in love. With SN I had to listen a few times to enjoy it. Lyrically, this album is gorgeous. Nate and the boys write great songs, melodies, choruses, THE DRUMS. Live the drums so so so good, but I’m not a huge fan of drum machines. I just can’t get past all the production that went into it.

I also miss Emily’s voice quite a lot.
